When the hype in lacrosse spread out from countries in North America, the enthusiasm for this sport also sprouted in some regions of Europe, particularly in areas like Great Britain and London, through the efforts of visiting players from Canada during the 1870s. The jump-start of ideas on lacrosse allowed for some English clubs to be created, and in turn resulted in key events that took place, especially in the latter part of the 1800’s. The Aussies then took part in holding lacrosse events in their territory.
